The ever popular 358 Modified Series will have a new look for the 2017 season as New York based company Unique eCigs has signed on to be the official sponsor of the series.
All 3 events will still be 50 laps in distance beginning with the crown jewel event for the 358 Modifieds, the Memorial Cup on May 26th. The 2nd event will take place on July 7th with the Independence Day 50 and conclude on Labor Day Championship night with the Labor Day 50 on September 1st. 5 time and defending track champion Billy Dunn has owned the series winning the title 4 times and will look to add a 5th title plus add to his series leading, 7 wins. Other drivers who would love to take the crown include Jordan McCreadie, Brian McDonald, Chris Raabe, Carey Terrance and Tim Fuller who will return full time to MIR in 2017. Along with the track regulars, 3 invaders from the province of Quebec will also join the fight. Clement, Alan and Alex Therrien will make the haul from Victoriaville to challenge for the Unique eCigs championship. All 3 have many laps around MIR and are poised to take the title home to Quebec for the first time.
